I have been a programmer & developer since the mid 1980's during most of that time I had my own business "Corinthian Software Inc" and we did quite well. After the crash of the development industry back in 2000 called the "Death of the DOT COM's" I decided to close the business down and go work for others. Well this has worked okay but not as good as I expected so I am back wrighting applications and web sites again.
This blog is dedicated to the building or re-building of an old application I written a couple of times. Originally as a DOS application then re-written in 1996 as a Windows application. Now I am going to re-write it once again, using .NET and C# so it will be more friendly to the new Windows operating systems.
I am also an avid sailor and have lived on my boat(s) for the past 20 years. Currently I own and Islander 36, purchased in 1995, named Mouse Pad (which has nothing to do with computers, but that's another story). I successfully sailed Mouse Pad from Marina del Rey, California to Auckland, New Zealand back in the 1997 season. To read about that adventure you can go to Mouse Pad's web site.
Oh, bye the way for those who are curious about the photo above, it was taken in July 2009 at The Holiday In Suva, Fiji.
