Explorer had just completed Americas coveted
Transpack race. She won it handily.
Before arriving in Raiatea she completed the most miles for a sailing vessel in one
day. She now holds the world record of 543 nautical miles in 24 hours. And I
thought I was doing good to do 170 nautical miles in 24 hours on Mouse Pad!
