Unfortunately for me Jerry didn't make the entire trip down to the hidden beach. The path was steep and forbidding and she thought it better that she wait behind. Jerry has a small fear of heights and parts of this path had some very shear drops off the side at times. I hope these pictures will help convey the true beauty of this hidden beach. I felt really bad when I went on without her. Sorry you missed it Jerry.

Walking through the almost jungle like growth
from the road we got to see some of the most wonderful flowers growing freely, clinging to
the rock face
We were all glad that we wore our heavy hiking boots this day. The footing was sharp
coral.

Flowers bushes and... well who knows what.
On our walk through the jungle before we got to the path down the coral ridges to
the Hidden Beach

The path is maintained by the islanders.
It's cement pushed between the crags and ridges of the coral cover the sharp edges.
They've even put hand rails and steps in where needed. It made going down the
side of the island to the hidden beach much easier.

As you can see from this picture the beach is actually quite deep down in the coral.
The tops of the palm trees don't come close to the top
